Nothing in this blog can be believed. If you think that anything in this blog is true or factual, you'll need to verify it from another source. Do you understand? No? Then read it again, and repeat this process, until you understand that you cannot sue me for anything you read here. Also, having been sucked into taking part in the mass-murder of more than 3 million Vietnamese people on behalf of U.S. Big Business "interests", I'm as mad as a cut snake (and broke) so it might be a bit silly to try to sue me anyway...

The NSA Is Watching You

"Three targeted Americans:  A career government intelligence official, a filmmaker, and a hacker. None of these U.S. citizens was charged with a crime, but they have been tracked, surveilled, detained—sometimes at gunpoint—and interrogated, with no access to a lawyer."

From an article in Democracy Now, by Amy Goodman with Denis Moynihan.

It is possible to contemplate a USA which continued much as it had been in the 1990's if it had not been for the thuggish intervention of Banana bin Laden. The politico-military establishment in the USA now believes it is at war, where all of the ordinary rules such as due process can be abandoned because "... there's a war on ...".

So it's all bin Laden's fault?

The fact that decades of mass-murderous US foreign policy has brutalised, traumatised and radicalised so many people around the world that some (a small percentage) of them have lost the plot and said "Enough is enough, we're going after the US until they piss off from our lands", is reason to deny due process to people whom the US has accused (not charged, just accused) of stuff they're not even remotely guilty of?

I think, like the US, your moral compass might be a tad error-prone, Andrew. Best you get it serviced soon, lest you become completely lost on the moral landscape...
